The results of a survey conducted by the Social Watcher platform showed that 75% of those surveyed support the imposition of curfews in Kuwait as part of the government’s measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus in Kuwait.

While 62 percent of the participants confirmed that they would inform the competent authorities in the event that one of their relatives violated the requirements of compulsory home quarantine, 89 percent of them felt that the efforts made by the government to limit the spread of the Corona virus in Kuwait are sufficient.

On interacting with social media, 35 percent of the participants confirmed that they obtained their information about the Corona virus in Kuwait through the WhatsApp application, followed by Twitter with 30 percent and then 29 percent of Instagram, and the research team would like to show that the actual percentage of this question reached 170 percent Given that the participants can choose more than one answer, it is a research approved mechanism to measure the volume of dealing with information through more than one medium.

Within the general information of the total respondents, 608 citizens and residents participated in the survey, and the Social Watcher research team approved 244 of them, after excluding the questionnaires containing conflicting or incomplete answers.

The percentage of respondents in the poll was 90 percent Kuwaiti, compared to 10 percent non-Kuwaitis, of whom 49 percent were male, compared to 51 female, and the highest age group among the respondents was 31 percent for the age of 40-50 years, then 29 percent for the age of 50-60 years, 29 percent 30 – 40 years old.

And those with a university education level were the most involved in measuring public opinion by 59 percent, then private sector employees by 26 percent and retirees by 21 percent, and the largest group of participants were government sector employees by 44 percent, and about the housing governorates in which the participants lived, came As follows: the capital is 38 percent, around 32 percent, Mubarak Al-Kabeer 10 percent, Farwaniya 9 percent, Ahmadi 7 percent, Jahra 1 percent.
