Social watcher team noticed a spread in Covid19 among Kuwaitis after a new areas announced as infected mostly Kuwaitis live in, in the same time Government will apply the third phase of back to normal.

Since July 16, the Ministry of Health started withholding data regarding the new Covid19 positive cases in Kuwait regarding their nationalities and living areas, and that approach continues what the ministry started to do since May 4 when it’s declined to mention any data related to some of Covid19 positive new cases, whether in terms of the type of infection if it was in contact or under epidemiological investigation of unknown source as well as the nationalities, in addition to its withhold to provide data of deaths which were previously provided such as nationality, age, gender, and time spent in the intensive care, and continued on June 17 by withholding data regarding the non-Kuwaitis nationalities new cases.

Kuwait announced today 1008 new Covid19 positive cases, 883 recovery, 11 deaths, for a total of 26,192 cases, 10,156 recovery and 205 deaths, recovery rate is 38.8% and deaths 0.78%.

Compared to last report om May 25, all rates increased, new cases 4,225, recovery 8.7% and deaths by 0.03%.

According to today’s announcement, 287 Kuwaitis were infected, which is the highest recorded number among Kuwaitis in one day, bringing the total Kuwaitis to 5,058, the fifth thousand Covid19 positive cases among Kuwaitis reached today within 6 days, fourth thousand cases in 6 days on May 25, third thousand cases in 5 days on May 19, second thousand in 9 days on May 14, and the first thousand reached on May 5 after 72 days since the first case announced in Kuwait by a Kuwaiti citizen came back from Iran on February 24.

Since Kuwait imposed curfew on May 10, Kuwaitis announced with Covid19 positive reached 3,647 by 72.1% of total 5,058, May recorded 4,379 cases among Kuwaitis by 86.6%, making the daily average in May to 146.

Kuwait announced today 1073 new Covid19 cases, 342 recovery, 3 deaths, for a total of 16,764 cases, 4,681 recovery and 121 deaths, recovery rate is 27.9% and deaths 0.72%.

According to today’s announcement, 231 Kuwaitis were infected, bringing the total of Kuwaitis to 3,035, the third thousand cases among Kuwaitis reached today within 5 days, second thousand reached by 9 days on May 14, and the first thousand reached on May 5 after 72 days since the first cases arrived to Kuwait on February 24.

Today, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 947 new cases of coronavirus, 188 cured and 6 deaths, bringing the total number to 11975 and 3451 cures to constitute 28.8%, and 88 deaths to 0.66%.

According to today’s announcement, 160 Kuwaitis were infected, bringing the total of Kuwaitis infected with Corona virus 2083, where the second thousand were registered today and took 9 days to reach, and the first thousand 72 days since the disease arrived on February 24, 2020, and taking the average cases with the days, the average of the last 9 days is 111 cases a day was recorded among Kuwaitis, more than 100 cases per day in the last 5 days.

The figures announced today for the cases, it’s the second day in the Kuwaiti cases top 5 days, as it remains the highest May 10 with 190 injuries in one day, and no new cases related to travel recorded since May 8, after Kuwait evacuate more than 42 thousand citizens from 58 airport distributed over the world.
